World Hip Hop Dance Championship: Live on Phoenix! – Fun things to do in Phoenix
The World Hip Hop Dance Championship will be held on August 5th until the 11th in Phoenix, Arizona!
This is the most celebrated event for dancers across the globe. The World Hip Hop Dance Championship competition will be participated by over thousands of dancers around the world. Dance crews will be competing for the title while hip hop artists and celebrities perform live on the dance stage.
Apart from this event, Hip Hop International will be conducting World Battles on the eighth day. The World Battles includes genres of breaking, popping and locking and all other dance styles. The world’s top street dancers will be representing their countries for the battles.
For the week-long event, there will panel discussions included featuring hip hop living legends and icons. There will also be a Chill Down Lounge for dancers after the evening competitions are done so that they can socialize with other dancers.
Included in the event are the presentations of the Living Legend of Hip Hop Award and Urban Moves Dance Workshops. These workshops are demonstrated by renowned hip hop dancers and choreographers.
Philippines, United States, New Zealand, Australia, Belgium and other 50 affiliated countries are joining in the said competition.
National qualifications within each affiliated Hip Hop International country are conducted to enter in this event. This will check which ones will be participating in the World Battles and in the World Hip Hop Dance Championship.
Dance crews with no qualifying event can request a special invitation from the Hip Hop International to join.
