A fun thing to do in Phoenix Arizona that kids can participate is the Halloween Stroll this afternoon at 2:00 P.M. Wear your scary costumes and take the Halloween Stroll at Downtown Tempe’s Hayden Station. The station is located at 4th St., West of Mill Ave.
Everyone can enjoy on this festive event. There are a lot of festive crafts, games, trick-or-treating and contests that the entire family can participate.
Some of the contests or games include:
- Merchant Decorating contest: All merchants and shops in Hayden Station will bring out their best Halloween designs as you get your trick-or-treats. Remember to bring your spookiest costume and your trick-or-treat bag as well. You can cast your votes or even post the shops that has the best Halloween signs in this link.
- Costume Contest: The contest will start no later than 4:30 P.M. at the Hayden Station. Three with the best costumes will be receiving prizes per category. The following categories that you can participate include:
- Cutest
- Most Scary
- Most Creative
- Best Group
- Funniest
- Best Pair
Aside from these, kids can have free entrees on the participating shops when they go on trick-or-treating.

- Pita Jungle
- Snakes & Lattes
